Georgia K9 Training will work with you to provide the K9 you need to feel safe in today’s increasingly violent world. However, one thing we will NOT do is train YOUR dog to be a protection K9 at levels 2 or 3 below. We will only work with specific breeds and select puppies at a young age for training. We prefer Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinchers and Giant Schnauzers.

Having a personal protection dog is a big responsibility. Getting one is not something you should entertain lightly, as there is potential liability if your dog attacks someone – whether deserved or not. Georgia K9 Training will assist you with making the correct decision for you, based on your needs.
We train at three levels, depending on your needs. For Level 2 and 3, the dogs are provided by Georgia K9 Training. We will find puppies at 6 to 9 months old and, after testing their drive and personality, begin training immediately.
LEVEL 1 – Family Protection Without Bite (Starting at $2,000)
Level 1 dogs are family companions. They are selected specifically to live with children and other pets. These dogs are trained in complete on and off-leash obedience. Level I Personal Protection Dogs are trained to be alert at home and other locations, and bark to alert their owners to the presence of intruders or potential threats. Level 1 Dogs are NOT trained to bite or apprehend subjects. Level 1 dogs are trained to bark on command when they feel a threat to themselves or their owners.
These dogs are ideal for families that do not want the liability of having a fully-trained K9 that will bite and apprehend subjects in protection work.
LEVEL 2 – Attack or Intrusion Protection With Bite (Starting at $8,000)
Level 2 dogs are also very social dogs and are trained in both on and off-leash obedience for complete control. Level 2 Personal Protection Dogs are trained to apprehend and subdue intruders / attackers. They are trained to prevent attacks and apprehend attackers by verbal command from their handlers or when they feel a threat to themselves or their owners.
These dogs are trained to hold or release and guard individuals when commanded to do so. They are trained to be protective not only in your home but while traveling as well. Level 2 Protection Dogs are ideal for individuals or families that require reliable protection under any circumstances.
LEVEL 3 – Law Enforcement, Government and Executive / VIP Protection (Starting at $20,000)
Level 3 K9s are hand selected for clients such as Law Enforcement/Government Agentcies, Business Executives and Professional VIP Security, Professional Athletes or individuals in the Entertainment Industry. Level 3 K9s are trained to take down and apprehend attackers / intruders and subdue them until they are no longer a threat.
Level 3 K9s are trained specifically to client needs and are fully capable of protecting their owners at home, work, or during travel. Level 3 K9s are put through a rigorous training program to ensure they provide the most reliable protection for clients with demanding lifestyles.
